Marie died in the Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice in Leeds on 13 February 2023, at the age of 38, following a brave battle with cancer. For several months the staff at Wheatfields provided lots of high quality care and support for Marie, her husband Rob and their two little boys Isaac and Elijah. This care was provided both at home and in the hospice, delivered with great compassion and kindness. The team at Wheatfields also provided valuable  bereavement support to Marie’s family.

Following her death, Marie’s family, friends and colleagues raised over £4,000 for the Sue Ryder charity. We would like to continue raising money for Wheatfields and Sue Ryder in Marie’s memory through this site. You can write a tribute, share a memory, post a photo or make a donation to mark a special anniversary, whenever you feel like it. This site could also be used if you are taking part in an event and would like to fundraise in Marie’s memory. 

We all miss Marie so much and we hope that this site will be a tribute to her memory and continue to raise much needed funds to support the invaluable work done by Sue Ryder hospices.
